Nadine's story so far

There is great excitement in the Sunnyvale community! After months of phone calls, mounds of paperwork, more phone calls, laughter and tears, Nadine's family is at last be arriving September 3^rd in Silicon Valley - Mum, Dad and 6 kids - to a very joyous reunion with their daughter, Nadine. They fled from war-torn Burundi to refugee camps in Tanzania where they spent several years before being allowed to come here to be with their daughter.

Nadine is 20 years old and was given a special refugee visa 2 years ago due to medical needs and is receiving ongoing medical care. Hard to imagine how she must be feeling now about her family’s imminent arrival!

We would love you to join our team of helpers to wrap our arms around this family of nine, and help them find their way in this new country and community. We have some great people on board already with many different talents to share with these people. But you can imagine how much more they're going to need!
